As part of the program to modernize production capacities and increase energy efficiency, ROMGAZ is developing a combined cycle power plant (CECC), configured with four gas turbines, four heat recovery boilers (HRSG) and two steam turbines, with a total installed capacity of 430 MW. In this project, PIPESUPPORT CONSULT carried out the execution and assembly documentation for the pipes and support systems related to the entire plant, in accordance with the basic engineering provided by the general contractor, using AutoCAD 2D/3D software. For areas where basic engineering was not available, the company performed stress analyses to optimize the geometry of the piping systems and associated support systems, with the help of CAESAR II software, as well as three-dimensional modeling of the installations using Cadworx Plant. At the same time, PIPESUPPORT CONSULT has adapted and completed the technical documentation in accordance with the requirements of the Notified Body (NoBo), received from the general contractor, establishing the applicable certification schemes in accordance with the PED Directive 2014/68/EU. The activities were completed by providing technical assistance during the assembly and by developing the necessary documentation and procedures for the execution of pressure tests related to all piping systems and recovery boilers
